The report qualitprix is like all new E-MU products. I sold my Edirol PCR-50 to buy it and I do not regret at all, the X Board possde do not have zippers but I used very little (only for B-3 organ like ) is I do not miss. Too bad there have no presets for other synths, you have to patch is the same but as the editor E-MU X Board is not too damn Gnant. I love the touch the knobs are quite enjoyable and rsistants, some may be small, the two knobs perfect. I bought the DS came out and really do not regret it. The aftertouch (very rare in this price range) aporte a real plus in expression! The 16 knobs directly control the Proteus / Emulator X and it's really enjoyable and trs "visual" I do not use the Proteus provided because I possde Emulator X Studio The DJ (card + 1820M Emulator X) on the other hand there is no preset for vsti's march. The editor is very well done for soft, trs readable and the changes are applied directly to the keyboard! good point. Installation is a little bug but it is explained in the manual (which is sufficient but not necessarily clear trs) The touch is superb, it's what motivated my purchase Note that the AC adapter (if you do not plug in USB) and optional MIDI controller / USB (auto feed in this case) 4 octaves ![]() ![]() Yes MODELS some, but not until the sduit not me. Poor finish plastic base of potentionmtres. The possibility of doing rglages by the software "X-Board Control". VLOC programmable modes "Channel 16, Latch, Snapshot & Bypass") The many opportunities offered by these functions (8 patches and curves Windows automatically chooses otherwise impossible to make updates to Easy to install (same attention right to choose the right drivers not those 2 days (yes I know this is trs short and an update of this opinion will do next) The manual "Fran" (download on the site) is pretty clear. How to find, with the intuition it is easily The select the MIDI channel and patch is simple, and also not really need instructions for Rglages the rest a little sharp and the other functions that I have not had time to test. Pretty simple, I find relatively easy to program the fawn patches without even reading the manual. It is ideal to play my fawn and yet I am demanding this trs l. It is more than enjoyable, never seen one as a touch, especially in this price range. The USB (no power required supplmentaire when you connected the computer) The "Latch" which is handy for some live. The configurable potentiomtres 16 of 16 patches Different. Nevertheless, if the Xboard does indeed feel better, and might last longer, it's a consideration.- The possibility of having a 49 Keys for less than 150. I've also read about people having driver issues with the Xboards, and I'm unsure to what degree I should or shouldn't be worried about that if I'm not using the E-mu software, and just sticking with MIDI functions in FL Studio. ![]() I've read a lot of reviews talking about them seeming very plastic (I grew up with Casios, so from what I've tried of them, the M-Audios seem entirely tolerable), but the Oxygen 61 also has sliders, and buttons specifically for playing/stopping/rewinding tracks, which seem like they could come in handy. While M-Audios seem to be the "default" brand for lower-end MIDI controllers, I hear a lot of people complaining about their products. ![]() I'm looking for a USB MIDI keyboard for recording at home and playing out a bit (probably 61-key for also learning to play piano in the process) and for price and features' sake, I think I'm down to the Oxygen, and the E-mu Xboard (I've read of several accounts of 2-3 keys dying on Edirols after a year, and CMEs are more expensive, and allegedly partly made of plywood?).
